BSA Membership - Add Boater Access

The Boater Access (Dock) Fee is $90. This separate form is only intended to be used if you need to add Boater Access after you have paid the annual BSA membership. If not, then please use this form instead.

Please note that the Boater Access (Dock) Fee applies to any member, guest, or renter who uses the BSA Dock for dinghy tie-ups.

For 2026, the Boater Access Fee is waived for members (and their families or guests) who use the dock only to launch kayaks, paddleboards, or canoes. Instead, members may choose to make a voluntary $45 contribution—at application, renewal, or any time during the year—to help offset ramp and dock maintenance costs.

However, members who allow renters to use the dock to launch these types of watercraft must purchase Boater Access privileges and pay the $90 fee. There is no charge for use of the kayak/paddleboard storage rack. Dock rules are posted onsite and on the BSA website. Please ensure that everyone in your household, as well as all guests and renters who plan to use the dock, are familiar with these rules. Questions regarding dock policy may be directed to the Chair of the BSA Dock Committee (Tim Hallowell).

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you around the loop at Boothbay Shores!
