BSA Membership

As a property owner in Boothbay Shores, you are eligible to become a member of the Boothbay Shores Association. Please complete the form below if you are:

  1. applying for membership to the Boothbay Shores Association (BSA), or
  2. renewing your current membership.

This is a “smart form” that will ask for information based on your responses to specific questions and is particularly streamlined for renewing members. Please answer in the order presented. The form will also tally the dues and fees owed depending on your selections and will provide a total at the end.

Please note that membership is per household, not per person. Only one application/renewal and one payment should be made per address. New memberships will be activated upon confirmation of eligibility and receipt of this form with payment.

It is important for the Association to maintain accurate, up-to-date contact information for our database. Renewing members, please review your entry in last year’s Membership List (sent to you separately by email and always readily available in the Members area of the BSA website) and provide any corrections and/or updates in the Member Info section below. New members, a more detailed Member Info section will appear below.

We are pleased to offer an online payment option this year. Online payments are secure, fast, and preferred by many. Note that there is a standard nominal fee associated with this option. You will be given the opportunity to pay online at the end of this form. Alternatively, you may submit payment by check, either via snail mail or your bank’s bill payment interface. Our mailing address is provided at the end of this form.

The deadline for membership renewal and payment is 15 April, after which a $15 late fee applies.

Membership Fees

  • Annual Dues: $70.00 (per calendar year, not prorated)
  • Boater Access (Dock) Fee: $90 (if applicable)
  • Application Fee: $50.00 (new members only)
  • Late Fee: $15.00 (if renewing after 15 April)

Please recall that the Boater Access (Dock) Fee applies to any member, guest, or renter who will be using the BSA Dock for dinghy tie-ups and/or for the launch of any type of watercraft, including kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, etc. There is no charge for use of the kayak/paddleboard storage rack. Dock rules are posted onsite and on the BSA website. Be sure everyone in your household as well as guests and renters who plan to use the dock are appropriately informed. Questions regarding dock policy may be directed to the Chair of the BSA Dock Committee (Tim Hallowell).

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you around the loop at Boothbay Shores!
