Dock and Mooring Waiver

Use of the Boothbay Shores Association (BSA) dock and guest mooring is at the sole risk of persons using same. BSA makes no representation as to the safety or adequacy of these structures, which are for the exclusive use of BSA members, families, and their guests, nor does BSA assume the care, custody or control of vessels while tied to the dock or mooring. Neither BSA nor any of its directors, officers, members, or volunteers shall be liable to the owner or passengers of the vessel, or anyone claiming under such owner, for any damage to property or injury to persons on or near the BSA premises or anchorage. The owner hereby releases the BSA, its directors, officers, members, and volunteers from all claims and liabilities relating to any such damage or injury. The vessel’s owner or skipper shall be responsible for ensuring that all passengers comply with the BSA rules relating to use of its dock and guest mooring as specified in the Boothbay Shores Association Dock Rules.
